Has exhibited at the RSA and regularly exhibits both painting and ceramics at galleries around Scotland has also undertaken a number of public commissions in Ceramics, most recently being commissioned by Bank of Scotland to design and make two Special Arts in Business Scotland Management Awards.

Work in ceramics has always been strong and sculptural in form, and while being functional, elevates the everyday serving of food and drink to the ceremonial.

‘Paintings and panels generally start with the landscape but are not purely topographical. The work is developed later in the studio to express feelings that I have developed towards the subject, and often concentrates on a sense of the way the history or the mood of a place communicates itself to us.’
